This sunday I discovered the amzing Lu Xun Park. It was full of people singing (a huge group of 100 persons!), dancing, playing...there was a strong feeling of community and joy. It was a shame that there wasn't almost any young people there. I am affraid that this kind of activities will disappear with the older generations... 

Otro domingo descubriendo la ciudad, hoy fuimos al Lu Xun park, cerca del antiguo barrio judío. Es un parque super animado con montones de gente cantando y bailando...conciertos por todas las esquinas, coreografías, ensayos al borde del lago...lo que más me gustó fue ver un grupo de más de cien personas cantando a la vez, era muy impresionante, daba un sentimiento de comunidad y unión muy fuerte. Me llemó la atención que sólo había gente mayor y de mediana edad...los jóvenes pasan olímpicamente de este tipo de actividades...una pena que desaparezcan las generaciones mayores.

Visiting art galleries at M50, walking in the Hongkou area, watching Shanghai old pictures at the Astor Hotel and enjoying the sunset in the Suzhou Creek...

Un domingo en familia visitando las galerías de arte del M50, paseando por el barrio de Hongkou, viendo fotos del Shanghai colonial en el Astor Hotel y la puesta de sol a la orilla del río Suzhou...tengo que salir más de mi barrio!

I used to complain about not having flea markets in Shanghai...but lately, almost every week, there are markets, fairs and lots of fun events where people can show their creativity and recycle their old possesions. Yesterday I went to the, already famous, Jianshan Market, and then to a flea market at the old Lolo Loves Vintage...it was packed of creative and stylish people...great atmosphere and lots of fun!

Es icreíble lo rápido que se mueven las cosas en esta ciudad...hace un año me quejaba de que en Shanghai no había mercadillos ni rastros ni nada y últimamente casi todas las semanas hay uno. Estas fotos las saqué ayer en el jardín de la antigua tienda de Lolo Loves Vintage. Estaba a rebosar de gente muy artística, estilosa y creativa de Shanghai. Me encontré con amigos, pasé un rato divertido y me compré un lacito de crochet...como tengo pocos accesorios...y de crochet, pues uno más para la colección!!
